Checkout my friend Patrick Epino’s film, “Mr. Sadman”, for free online. It’s a feature-length satire/dark comedy about a 1990 Saddam Hussein double who loses his job and moves to Los Angeles to start his life over. Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot Magazine called it “over-the-top hilarious”.
Patrick’s distributing the film exclusively through Topspin, a distribution platform used mostly by musicians and bands such as Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. You can stream the movie free online, download a free copy, purchase an HD version, or get one of his rather distinct “Dictator Packs” straight from his website:
http://patrickepino.com
The film’s a unique take on American life and stars the late Al No’mani, Scoot McNairy from the indie films “Monsters” and “In Search of a Midnight Kiss”, Tim Kang from CBS’s “The Mentalist”, and Amanda Fuller from the film “Red White & Blue”.
If you like the film, share it with friends, “like” the page on Facebook, or leave a comment on his website.
Thanks!

Hey everyone, I’m in the editing stages of my new movie about L.A.’s fixed gear bike community called To Live and Ride in L.A. And right now I’m looking for local music to include in the film. This is an opportunity for local L.A. musicians to have a track featured in a movie that will be seen by cycling enthusiasts around the world. If you have some music for us to hear, comment to this blog post with links to your url where we can stream your music. I will personally be going through and listening to each posting and I will contact you if I find something that fits in my film. Thanks for all the support L.A.!
