Mike Martin hooked me up with a pair of Vittoria EVO CL tires. Good news is that i got new tires, bad news these tires are only for wood velodromes. Good news again is that the Home Depot Center Velodrome is not far away from me. I put them to the test today and I got 1st place in the Cat 5 Omnium. Hopefully I’ll get my upgrade approved by the next race. More pics Soon!

Yesterday was the LAVRA Winter Classic 2011 at the Home Depot Velodrome Center. Great day of racing. No Crashes, thank god. I took afew pictures. Enjoy.

Encino Velodrome is proud to announce that we will be showing the award winning film” BICYCLE DREAMS”Saturday August 29th Bicycle Dreams - The True Story of the Race Across America So plan to come out for a great evening at the track , we are planning on having a BBQ and then screening the film Bicycle Dreams ,about the Race Across America . Film will be shown outdoors at the track, bring your chairs and come on out for a special evening at the track!Evening begins at 6:30 PM with BBQ and film shows at sundown ( aprox 7:30 PM ) We are asking for a donation of $5 per person or $15 per family for this special presentation to benefit the non profit Encino VelodromeEncino Velodrome is located at Oxnard and Louise streets in Encino CA We are also having a Beginner Track Class at noon. Come out and learn to ride the Velodrome!
